Trick or Treating

Tonight we got to go to the hospital for our annual tricker treating. There was a huge line so we had to wait a while, but we finally got in. The boys had a great time! Mitchell was Thomas the Tank engine again and Connor was a fire fighter (Mitchell's old costume). Connor wasn't too thrilled about weating the hat but atleast I got him to wear the coat. Here are a couple of pictures of them this evening. Needless to say, we have alot of candy that will last us a long time!

Harvest 2008

It's hard to believe that harvest time is finally here! We have been running for about a month now and are about half way done! I love to here all the combines going in the fields and watching them bring in their bountiful harvest! My sons love it even more! I finally got a chance to get some pictures of harvest. They are a bit blurry and if I can get some better ones, I will post them. I had to hurry and get my pictures before I got ran over by a combine! There were four combines in the field plus two grain carts and several semi's! So I had to hurry! I hope you enjoy!

Making Caramel Apples!

On a crisp cool Autumn day Mitchell and I decided to make some caramel apples together. We had a great time! Mitchell helped me dip the apples in the caramel and then we had to wait till the caramel got hard before we got to try them. After waiting, Mitchell and I sat down with a cup of hot cocoa and ate our yummy apples. What a fun day!

My favorite thing

One of my favorite thing to do with our family is to watch Elden with our boys. Elden loves to play hide and seek lately with the boys and always loves to tickle them as well. Here is a video of Elden tickeling Connor. I love to hear Connor laugh. It always puts a smile on my face!

Only My Connor

I had a good laugh of Connor last night. I just got done giving him a bath and Mitchell was in the shower. I was too busy doing other things and before I knew it I heard Mitchell laughing and saying "Connor what are you doing?". I thought to myself this isn't good....I hardly dared go in the bathroom. I went in and there was Connor just sitting in the tub full of water with his PJ's on. He didn't think nothing of it. He thought he was pretty cool stuff as he pointed to his shirt saying some baby jumble like he was proud of himself for having his shirt on while in the bathtub. Needless to say, Connor got a bath twice last night!

On Saturday we went to the Family Fall Festival in Pella that was sponcered by the First Christian Church. We had a great time and it was absolutely beautiful weather! There were so much to do there, it was incredible. Mitchell rode a horse, painted a pumpkin (along with Connor) and rode on a hay rack ride! There was also a train there that Mitchell rode as well. Connor was content to play in the soy beans that were in a big container. My mom and aunt Sharesa and uncle Jason and Caleb and Addilynn went along as well. We finished off with a great lunch! What a fun day we had!

Fall Pictures!

Today was such a beautiful day that I thought it would be a perfect day for a picture! I got the boys some matching fall shirts and bribed them with some church candy in order to get these smiles! Connor was amazingly in the picture taking kind of mood so I was fortunate! The pictures turned out great! I love to have seasonal pictures in my house to display.
Great Job Boys!

Connor playing baseball!

Connor loves to play baseball outside! I always get a good laugh out of watching him try to put the ball on the T and try to hit it. I hope you enjoy as much as I did!

Yummy Cookies!

Mitchell helped me make some star cookies that morning so they thought they'd better taste test them. They had a good time taste testing. Mommy even tried one just to make sure they are good.
