Angie's surprise birthday party!

Yesterday we had a surprise birthday party for my dear sister Angie! I've never been to one before so it was fun to plan a surprise one! We invited some people from church to come and join us! It was a success and we all had a great time! Happy Birthday Angie!

Lost tooth!

Connor has finally lost both of his two front teeth! I was hoping he would loose them before his pictures for school, but it came out a few days later! I always love it when they loose their front teeth, it's so cute!

harvest festival

Every year we go to the fun festival in Pella. This year we went with Nanna Van Zee and Angie! It was a gorgeous day for it and the kids had a blast! Here's a few pictures of our fun day! Thanks to Angie and Connie for going with us!

Farming some more...

Even though Elden has already put in a 100+hours this week, he still managed to farm with the boys on Sunday. They were so excited to harvest with their daddy again! We just went on last friday to ride with him and so immediately on Saturday, they wanted to harvest some more. We are blessed to have such a good daddy!

fall pics

Here's our photo session I made the kids do.. They did a good job, sure glad I had ice cream to bribe them with!

pumpkin carving

It was such a perfect fall evening, that we decided to carve into our pumpkins! The kids always love to carve pumpkins every year, it has become a tradition! I even made a chalkboard with the kids this year and love how it looks with my fall decore on my front porch! Next up~fall pictures with the boys-they are so thrilled! They should be posted soon!

Little chalkboards

I've always wanted to try some chalkboard paint, so I finally bit the bullet and bought some. The kids thought it was soo cool to paint their own chalkboard. I just found some old frames that we didn't use anymore aend let the kids paint the glass in the middle! I thought they turned out great! The kids love to write things on them and erase them and draw something new!
