Swimming with our cousins!

Every Monday we all go to Papa and Nana's house and spend the day with my side of the family. The boys all love to spend time together playing and one of their favorite things to do is swimming in the pool! The kids are loving it more and more as they get older! This year Mitchell has learned how to jump in the pool without having someone to catch him and swims like crazy! Just on Sunday, Connor has actually started liking the pool! He has finally started to jump in the pool and float in the water! We decided to go to our mom's again today and swim and Connor decided to jump in twice by himself and gets out all by himself. It makes me alittle nervous now that he isn't afraid of the water! Hopefully he won't jump in when no one is around. A big THANK YOU to all the hard work and money that Papa and Nana put into the pool to keep it going! We appreciate it! Here are a few pictures of our fun day at the pool!

Four Wheeling!

Mitchell has finally decided to try to ride his four wheeler all by himself! He told Elden last week that he wanted to learn how, so Elden jumped on the opportunity and taught him! Thankfully Elden lowered the power on the four wheeler so it wouldn't go so fast. Mitchell did a great job and handled the four wheeler very well! The Four wheeler hardly has enough power to make it up the hill in the pasture but goes pretty fast down! He is pretty proud of himself for learning how and is always asking Elden for his next ride!

Bible School

Connor lovin Bria!
Our Bible School Program!

Last week we kept very busy with Bible School! Mitchell had a great time. He had 13 kids in his class, I felt sorry for his teachers! I taught First Graders and managed to have 12 kids in my class. It went very well, they were very well behaved. There were only one child that was from the Reformed Church, otherwise the rest of them were from the community. We had around 90-100 kids each day, so it was very sucessful! Most of the kids were from the community, so there is a huge need. Just if they all came back on Sunday!
Connor didn't like to go to Bible School this year. He cried for almost an hour on Monday so thankfully Elwood came and took him home with him. He wanted to be in Mitchell's class instead of the nursery. So unfortunetly, he didn't get much from Bible school this year.
Here are a few pictures of the program on Friday night and of Connor holding one of our friend's baby. He definetly likes little Bria!

Swimming

Mitchell and Valarie!

It was such a nice and warm day today we decided to fill up our swimming pool and have a little fun! We invited our friend Valarie over to play in the swimming pool with us! She had a great time! We even managed to get Connor in the pool! He's not a big fan of water yet, hopefully that will change by the end of the summer! Here are a few pictures of our swimming fun!

The Lord's Prayer

Elden and I have been working hard with Mitchell after dinner saying the Lord's Prayer! He is doing great with remembering the words. It only took him a couple of weeks to learn! I wanted to get a picture of Connor praying too in this video, but he's hard to see. He looks pretty funny! His eyes are squinted shut and his hands are folded nicely. Most of the time, he doesn't open his eyes until we're done praying. But sometimes he peeks to see who's looking! We are proud of him for learning the Lord's Prayer. Great Job Mitchell!

Last week Friday we got to go to the zoo again! This time we went with our good friend Jody and Tyler! We had a great time! It was beautiful weather in the morning when we were there! Mitchell's favorite animal was the tiger! Mitchell and Tyler really enjoyed riding the train! Tyler and Mitchell had a blast together talking together and playing together! Thanks to Jody and Tyler for going with us and making it a special day!

Living On the Edge!

Elden's behind the guy in the shorts.
Elden's is half way up,near the middle of the crane..he's hard to see.

I think he's only about 80 feet in the air!

Elden is always living on the edge, and has no fear. This is one great example! Today he has to help put the new grain bin leg up and attach the cat walk to the bin. I thought the boys would enjoy watching the crane, so we decided to go and watch for a while. I was thankful that he has a harness on, that was reassuring! Of course he wasn't too worried about falling! Things were going pretty slow, but they are gradually getting it up. When I left, there was quite alot to do. I just pray no one gets hurt!

Train Land

We had a fun day today. We didn't have much going on so we decided to go to Trainland in Colfax. I have never been there before, but the boys have been there with Elden's family before, so I wanted to see what it was about. The boys had a great time! They loved all the trains going at all times. I would definetly recommend Trainland to anyone!

Great Picture! Too bad it wasn't bigger!

Mitchell and Connor had a great time this past weekend with their aunts! They left on Friday afternoon and went to the Children's museam in the afternoon and swam in the pool that evening at the hotel. On Saturday they went to the zoo all day and ha lots of fun looking at all the animals! Thankfully, it didn't rain on them while they were at the zoo! Mitchell has lots of stories to tell of their fun vacation! They got to stay overnight on Saturday evening at the hotel and got to do some more swimming at the pool! Mitchell was a alittle fish, but Connor was content to stay on the side of the pool! A special thanks to Angie and Nancy for taking them to the zoo!
