Our Fort!)

Watching our Movie together!

Mitchell and Connor in their fort!

Mitchell loving our new Fort!

Connor having fun in our fort!

My friend Lisa gave me a great idea to help pass time by on a cold day like today. She suggested making a fort for the kids to play in and watch a movie with the portable dvd player in the tent. So this morning, we did just that ! We had a great time making the fort and then we watched a car movie in our tent! We had great time together!

Having Fun With our Daddy!

The boys always like to play horse with Daddy in the evenings. I got some pictures of Elden giving them "Horsey back rides". There was a lot of laughter going on, that's for sure!

Our Gingerbread house!

Mitchell has been begging to eat our Gingerbread house since we made it.
Well we decided to try some, but of course it wasn't very good. Mitchell wanted
to take it apart using his kid friendly knife. He had a great time "sawing" it apart piece by piece and Connor had a great time watching.

Roller Skating!

Mitchell got some new roller skates for Christmas this year so yesterday we were at home and decided to put them on and give them a try! Mitchell did great and had a blast! Of course mommy had to help him skate around the kitchen floor but we had fun learning how to skate. Hopefully this winter some time we can take Mitchell to the roller rink in town and practice some more!

Connor's Two Year Pictures

We took Connor to Target for his two year pictures on Tuesday. He did pretty good. Of course he wouldn't smile that great. He always had a goofy grin. I was afraid that he would put his finger in his nose and act all shy on me from the start, but he managed to take a few pictures first and then he did that. When he started to act all shy, I told the photographer that we were probably done, I doubted he would smile any more. We got a good pose, so I was happy with that. Of course, the next day, he wanted to take pictures for me and said "cheese" and smiled great for me,
a day too late. I thought they were cute, so I posted them.

Taking our Christmas Tree Down

The worst part after Christmas is always taking down our Christmas Tree. But my little helpers made light work of it this year. Mitchell and Connor both took off all the ornaments this

year so all I had to do is to take the lights off. So I was thankful for their great job. They had fun doing it!
