First Snow

We finally had our first snow! The boys were looking forward to this snowstorm all week!
The boys were outside for a few hours tonight scooping the driveway. Then we all came in and had hot chocolate. While we were drinking our hot chocolate it flashed lightening and right away the boys asked if they could sleep in our bedroom. So they got all their blankets, 15 stuffed animals, two night lights, alarm clock and their fan and are camping out. Those boys give me such joy and great laughs! Mitchell says at supper tonight that he had a big feeling that school was going to be cancelled tomorow, We'll see what happens! Love this time of year!

Connor's 6th Birthday party-part 2

Connor had another great party! He got way to many gifts, ate lots of Hot wheel cake and had a blast with his cousins! We had Connor and his cousins be "Spies" for a secret mission of finding his new presents that were scattered around the house. The kids really enjoyed this now that they can read. The bottom picture is of Connor and all his new cars! Thanks to all of our families for coming and making it a special day! We love you Connor!

Connor's 6th Birthday -part 1

Connor was blessed to have two birthday parties on his actual birthday. The morning, he was nice and helped mommy put up the Christmas tree and then in the afternoon, he had a few friends over for his birthday! We had a Hot wheels themed party and had lots of fun with his friends from school! Here's a few pictures of his friends birthday party!
Connor is blessed to have such great friends!

Opening gifts!

All the boys LOVED coloring a hot wheels coloring sheet.

Eating their cupcakes!

Fall pics

It's been a while since I've updated, so I thought on this cold miserable night, it would be a good thing to do. This fall we took some fall family pictures with Elden's family. They turned out pretty good. Here's just a few of them!

new home

We have been blessed by our wonderful God by Him providing us with a new home. We definetly have seen God's work in this process of us purchasing our new home and selling our old home, so to God be the Glory! We are very thankful for the oppotunity that he has provided to us with a well built home and more room to run! Here are a few pictures of our wonderful family that has helped us make this house a home. Thanks so much for all your hard work! It was transformed in a week, it kind of reminded me of Home Make Over edition with our home. On the day of the move my sister said, "welcome home van zee family, welcome home"

tractor pull

We have been alittle busy around here, but finally got time to update our blog. At the beginning of Sept we had Mitchell and Connor's tractor pull. This year they both got to participate so they were pretty excited. Although they didn't get first place they both got a ribbon for trying. They did a great job trying and had a great time! Thanks to Elden's family for coming to watch and for the support!

Fun With Cousins!

The evening before Mitchell's birthday, we had our annual boys only sleepover! The boys had a blast together! They got to watch Ice Age and were giggling the whole time! There were alot of talking and laughing at bed time, but they finally went to sleep. In the morning we woke up and had "8" shaped pancakes to celebrate Mitchell's birthday. The boys then got to play in the dirt, what boys do best! Of course they couldn't take a picture without making a funny face!

Ozarks 2012

This year we went again to the Ozarks! We had a great time! We did lots of tubing, boating, swimming and watching the Olympics! Mitchell loved the tube and flew quite a ways in the air at times! Connor would prefer the swimming pool above all, because he could touch the bottom of course. We also did some go carting~Mitchell loved it and was giggling the whole time while Connor kept hitting daddy telling him to slow down! The boys are different in so many ways. We also managed to get Mitchell's birthday party in as well! Mitchell looks forward to this every year! He got lots of nice gifts and enjoyed his special cake. He's getting so big! We really enjoyed watching the boys have fun this year in the water! Thanks to Elden's family for making it so special for them!
