Planting has begun!

Here's a picture of the boys running to ride with daddy for the first time this spring together! Connor got to ride with him on Saturday when they started planting. They have been running hard due to the impending rain! It was such a great night for a ride. Mommy got some quite time in the car reading her magazine, so it was a win for everyone! I pray for safety again this spring as we got a late start and they are going to put in alot of hours in the next few months!

Connor's Chapel

Connor's kindergarten class led chapel the other day and thankfully I got to go! His class did such a great job teaching us some new songs and new moves! The kids were a joy to watch and it was great seeing them praising our Lord! I'm so thankful for such a wonderful teacher that Connor has and for a Christian school to send him to!

Trenching

As you can see, Elden had fun on his day off a few weeks ago. This happened to be on a Tuesday, when Connor was already home and Mitchell got sick at school the day before. Of course he was fine the next day but still couldn't go to school. So he throuroughly enjoyed having the day off with daddy! Elden had been wanting to get the water and electric lines into the shop so that when it was time to pour concrete, he wouldn't have to worry about it. Since it was a late start to spring planting, he managed to squeeze this in, which he was thankful for. It ended up being an all day project, but he got it done. Thankfully the dirt has now settled, we just have to try to get grass to grow there now!

Best Friends

Every Tuesday, Connor doesn't have school, so we have his friend Derek over for the day. They have truely become best friends. They have so much fun together! They like the same things, and are very much alike in many ways. Here's a few pictures of them having fun on a rainy day!

Last snow storm

I know it's been a while since I've blogged, so I thougt I'd catch up. The last major snowstorm we got we had some fun in the snow with our neighbors the Ness's. They are a family that live right down the road with two boys as well. My boys love playing with them every chance they can get. Here's a few pictures of them going down their hill. It's so nice to have neighbors for the boys to play with. I hope they become life long friends!
