Connor's Preschool Graduation

Hard to believe that Connor has graduated from preschool! He's growing up so fast! He was looking forward to it and had a great program. I will miss his wonderful teachers but I think he's ready for Kindergarten! What a bittersweet day!

Science Center

Last week Monday, I was able to go to Mitchell's field trip to the science center! Mitchell was pretty excited because this was the first time he got to go there. Mitchell really enjoyed it! He first got to make a rocket that he got to shoot off. I was surprised how far it went! We also got to listen to a "scientist" who did some cool experiments with "Cold Ice"  Also we got to be apart of the Newschannel 13 weather center! The kids were pretty excited to be on the news! We had a great time spending the day doing something fun!

Soccor

Connor had his final soccor game a few weeks ago. They only got a few goals, one of which Connor made pictured in the picture below. He did a great job and really enjoyed it! Next week Mitchell plays his first game of baseball! Let the summer begin!

"Mother's Day"

If you know me, you know I love flowers. I think I got that from my mom :) This past Tuesday, my sisters, mom and Grandma all went to Cantrell for the day to look at green houses and go to the Amish grocery store! We all enjoyed our "mother's day out" together! We were gone longer that we expected because we were to busy looking at all the flowers. We ended up getting so many flowers, there was hardly any where in the vehicle to sit! Here is one of the pots I arranged that I absolutely LOVE!
 Happy Mother's Day!

My Joys!

The boys are the joy of my life, along with their daddy! I look forward to being greeted every morning with their smile, energy, cuddling. I enjoy hearing what they learn in school and watching them grow up! But what really gives me joy is watching them grow in the Lord. Last week, Elden and I had them say the "Lord's Prayer" together by themselves; listening to them say that is a treasure that I will store in my heart for years to come. I am very blessed to be able to stay at home to watch my boys grow up, and wouldn't trade it for the world! I am very proud and happy to be their mother and thank God for blessing me with two precious boys!

Little League

We have started Mitchell in Little League this year! He was pretty excited to start. Connor and Mitchell have been practicing at home catching and batting. We started practices this week and what a time commitment! But Mitchell is learning alot and enjoying it! Here's a picture of him using the pitching machine for the first time! He got a few hits! We are looking forward to watching him play games too!

Vegtable Garden~part 2

Our Sweet Corn that is coming up!

Last night we finished planting our vegetable garden. Mitchell was pretty excited and did a great job of planting. He was on a mission! He planted two rows of sugar snap peas by himself in a straight row. Then he decided to water the peas, so he got the wagon hooked up to his four wheeler and got three 5 gallon buckets of water and the watering can and with his helmet on, he slowly and carefully drove the wagon over to the garden. He cracks me up! After he got done watering, he finished planting the rest of the garden. We ended up planting broccoli, peas, carrots, lettuce and two tomato plants plus the sweet corn we planted before.

Connor's Preschool Show and Tell

We had Connor's Show and Tell on Tuesday and Daddy thought it would be fun to bring the CAT Tractor for Connor to tell about. Daddy did this with Mitchell for his show and tell too, so thought it would be only be fair to have Connor have a cool show and tell as well. The kids really enjoyed it! Unlike Mitchell, Connor didn't give a five point sermen series on how the CAT operates like Mitchell did. Connor was pretty shy about it, like usual. The kids each got a turn to ride around in the parking lot in the tractor~! What a fun day! Thanks for the great memory Daddy!

Connor's first soccor game

Connor had his first soccor game. To bad it wasn't sunny, we haven't had much luck with sunny days on soccor game day. The boys all did great and Connor really enjoyed it. Connor always seemed to have his hands in his pockets. He was a good kicker, but wasn't real aggressive. I think he might get that from me;  He had lots of fans at his game! The game was pretty cute to watch a bunch of four year olds play soccor. We didn't get a whole lot of goals, but the kids had fun!

playing around

The kids thought it would be fun to make a track under our bed. So they insisted on me taking pictures of their train coming on the tracks. The first one is Connor's train and the second one is Mitchell's train. It's amazing how little things like this can entertain them for hours!

Planting Sweet Corn

A few weeks ago on one of those warmer days, Mitchell wanted to plant some sweet corn. He was so excited! He did a great job with making some straight rows. He is doing a good job maintinging the garden for now. We'll have to add some more veggies once it stops raining.
