Mowing the Grass

Elden and Mitchell were pretty excited to mow the grass with their new toy. Elden was home so early, I knew it was b/c he wanted to mow the grass. Mitchell has been begging Elden to mow the grass for the past week, so he was pretty excited when he saw that Daddy came home so he could help. I took a few pictures of them mowing together.

Easter Egg Hunt!

Today was so beautiful that we decided to have an Easter Egg Hunt at home! The first time I hid them all and the boys found them, and then Mitchell wanted to hide them and Connor and I tried to find them! We had to practice for our Easter Egg hunt with our friends from church this afternoon! Even though we had an egg hunt I am trying to explain to Mitchell what Easter is all about. It's hard for him to grasp, but we are working on it. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!

Our New Sandbox!!

Since Elden had to be in Arkansas this week, Pappa Van Zee was a Gem and was a great help! Pappa was very nice and decided to make the boys their own sandbox! I mentioned earlier this week to him about this sandbox idea and on Friday he took the boys to Menards and got the wood and brought them for lunch and brought them back home and made the sand box part. Then Mitchell and Pappa went and got a whole trailor load of sand to put in it! Needless to say we had alot of sand and some left over! Mitchell and Connor were pretty excited about their new sandbox and have been playing with it ever since! Thanks Pappa for the great sandbox!!

Mitchell and Mommy's favorite thing to do together is baking cookies. Nanna Van Zee made Mitchell his own apron to use for us baking cookies! Mommy got her apron out as well and thought it would be fun to take some pictures together! We had a great time trying to get a good picture and making cookies! I'll miss these days some day !(
