Monkey Joe's

Last week Friday the kids didn't have school, so we headed to Des Moines to meet some dear friends. After alittle shopping we went to a new place called Monkey Joes. It was a blast! The whole room was full of inflatable slides and bounce houses and optical courses. Jody even brought the kids a little snack! The kids had a great time playing together while Jody and I got caught up! It is such a blessing to have such great friends!

It's that time of the year again, hard to believe! It's planting season! I do enjoy watching the farmers in the fields around us preparing for planting and seeing the farmers busy planting crops to feed our world. I found a new website called picmonkey.com that allows you to do some photo editing since my faithful picnik has closed. I love it so far! Here's a few things I did with the new website so far!

Slip n Slide on April Fools Day!

The kids thought it would be fun to get out the slip and slide on Monday when it was 80 degrees, so I let them. I thought they might be alittle cold, but it was warm outside. They had a blast! Who would have thought they would be on that on the first of April? Crazy!

Soccor practice

This year we decided to start the sports with the boys. We signed up Connor for Soccor and Mitchell for T-Ball. Connor has had a few practices so far and has enjoyed them. We have our first game coming up on Saturday morning. So we are looking forward to that. Here's a few pictures of our practice!
