This year we went to the Ozarks again for a family vacation! We enjoyed spending time with the Van Zee's at a resort. Mitchell was especially excited to go since he is understanding more what it means to go on vacation. He was looking forward to opening his presents and having a birthday party. So the first evening that we got there we got a cake and had his party. He got lots of nice things, his favorite was his scooter and his Kinze wagon. We also had lots of fun on the boat. Mitchell finally got on the tube and went for a small ride untill some big waves came and both Elden and him flew off. I don't think he'll try that again for a long time! But it was still fun! Connor didn't appreciate the boating yet. He was content to stay in the boat and watch people or throw us the ball. When we asked him if he wanted to go boating, he said "Nooooo" with a sad look on his face. But he went anyway and was a pretty good sport about it. We spent alot of time on the boat and in the water since we had beautiful weather. Of course the boys would have rather stayed in the cabin and played with their tractors the entire time, but before we knew it our week on vacation was over. We are looking forward to next year when Connor can enjoy it more and more memories can be made.
