Newton Air Show 2011

This afternoon we got to go to the Newton Air Show at the airport. The event was free and had tons of different airplanes to look at and learn about. The kids had a great time with a few of Mitchell's classmates as they watched the planes do their stunts. One of the best part of the show was watching a few parachuters jumping from a airplane and landing near them. One of the parachuters 'let Mitchell and Connor and some others help carry the American flag and put his parachute away.  In the picture he was telling the boys that if he is still jumping when they get bigger and they wanted to learn how, that he would teach them how to parachute. It was neat to see the different types of airplanes and to watch all that they could do. Mitchell's favorite plane was the crop duster, big surprise! Connor's was the "star one"plane. Here's a few pictures of the fun day!
